Wardrobe Staples

Styles change but we can't just shell out huge amounts of cash every year for a new wardrobe. The following are a few wardrobe staples that you are sure to get years of use out of.

1. Little black dress
Always an essential and never goes out of style.

2. Trench coat
Trench coats are hot this season! Adding one to your wardrobe is essential. They can dress up jeans, they are practical, and they make you look a little mysterious.
Another bonus: trench coats rarely go out of season.

3. Pencil skirt
Pencil skirts are always flattering. When picking yours find one with a simple pattern or color that can be paired with different tops, this will ensure repeated use.

4. Button-down shirts
These never go out of style! Right now the style is button down with
ruffles going down the front, it's fun and flirty.

5. Blazer
Blazers are in, but not the big bulky ones.
Look for something fitted and short to medium length,
this will both be fashionable, and flattering.

6. Jeans
I know, this one is obvious, right? Not so! Trade your jeans in for something a bit more in style (and I don't mean those skinny jeans that your ankles barely fit into). Soon I will be doing a blog on how to find the right jeans for your body type but this is not the only important thing, please for your own style sake find a jean that is classic. NO MOM JEANS! If you are over 30 - no more holes in your jeans unless lounging around your house. The most classic style of jeans that is sure to always be in style is the trouser jean.
